Jared catches first Avid win at Johns Pond
Jared McCartney won his first Avid event at Johns Pond, besting the field of 7 anglers on a breezy day on the Cape. Jareds winning bag consisted of 4 largemouth that tipped the scales at 8.22 lbs. Jeff Lin took second place with 3 fish, as well as the lunker award with a bag that weighed 7.41 lbs. and included a 3.92 lb. kicker. Mike Caudle finished third, with 4 fish weighing 6.56 lbs.
